The following free activities are offered in the Lower/Outer
Cape towns for children aged birth-3, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. These are drop-in groups, no pre-registration is required. These playgroups do not meet on Nauset School vacation days. Wednesdays, 10:00-11:30 am at Eastham Public Library Children's Room. Lively interactive stories, games and songs with Lucy followed by a hands-on project and free play in the children's play area.
Tuesday Playgroup 9:00-10:30 am. Gym Time! Balls, ride-one toys, climbing & more! This group meets at the Harwich Community Center, 100 Oak Street.
Tyke Hikes & beach play with Lucy Gilmore. Mondays. Meeting places & times TBA.

Baby's First Year - Tuesdays, 11 am - 12:30 pm at Snow Library, Orleans with Monica Keefe-Hess. We meet to share stories, ask questions, and get familiar with resources that support you such as: nutrition, parenting, breast feeding, etc. Weekly discussion topics will include the various developental stages during baby's first year.

"Raising a Reader"
Fridays, 10 am-noon at Veteran's Memorial Community Center, 2 Mayflower Place ( Recreation Department Small Room)
Come and join Lucy Gilmore at a free weekly series beginning January 24 for children birth - 4 years accompanied by a parent or other adult.
Raising a Reader is a fun way to nurture a love of reading with your child while making new friends! Registration is required, call 508-240-3310.
