Studies show that children grow up happier and healthier with nurturing fathers in their lives.  At this group you will have the opportunity to hear other dads’ experiences and share your own. Create your own “toolbox” for effective parenting by gaining skills for handling challenging behaviors, effective communication & positive discipline.  Facilitated by Cindy Horgan, Executive Director & Family support Coordinator at the Cape Cod Children’s Place and Adam Pettengill, Early Childhood Professional and Dad.

You’ll have a chance to ask questions, share ideas and go home with education and resource materials.  Free.  Dinner & childcare included.

Space is limited so pre-registration is required.  Call Cape Cod Children’s Place at 508-240-3310 with your name, email address, telephone number, number of adults and names and ages of children who will attend.  Please indicate if you are in need of transportation.

This programming is funded by a SAFE Child Communities grant through the Children’s Trust and a Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) grant from the MA Dept. of Early Education and Care, administered by the Cape Cod Children’s Place.
