Food to Encourage

Participants Needed

Lower Cape Outreach Council, in partnership with the Barnstable County Public Health Nurses, and Cape Cod Children’s Place are looking to explore the impact of nutrition and healthy eating on diabetes and hypertension.  

This program will run from: October 12, 2017- October 11, 2018

The Program involves:

  • Health monitoring at CCCP with Barnstable County Public Health Nurse and our nutritionist
  • Extra bag of fresh fruits/vegetables each week
  • Free recipes, food samples, and ideas for healthy eating every week
  • Complete confidentiality for every participant
