* * * Children’s Cove is the Child Advocacy Center for the Cape and Islands, providing a compassionate, efficient, child-friendly facility for child abuse intervention. Children and families journey through a streamlined process which reduces the chances that the children are retraumatized and preserves the best evidence for investigators. Children’s Cove staff facilitate an under-one-roof collaboration of social and legal agencies to protect, treat, make counseling referrals for child abuse victims and their families, and investigate and prosecute the abusers.

Funded by a Family Centers grant from the Children’s Trust and a Coordinated Family & Community Engagement grant from the MA Dept. of Early Education and Care, administered by Cape Cod Children’s Place
