ASGCC is offering cost-free overdose prevention and Narcan training to the Cape Cod Children’s Place and the surrounding community. Everyone who successfully completes the program will receive a Narcan kit. Participants will learn the following: how to recognize the signs of an overdose; what to do during an overdose; distinguish between types of overdoses; the importance of calling 911; how to perform rescue breathing; and administration of intranasal Narcan. The training will take approximately an hour with an opportunity for questions and answers. Facilitated by Donna Mello and Blake Gronlund.
