Parenting Differences in Multi-Cultural Families
Thursday, January 19, 2017 5:30-7:30 pm at Provincetown High School, 12 Winslow St., Provincetown
Families come in all shapes and sizes. The uniqueness of each family is in the coming together of differences. Join Cindy Horgan, Executive Director & Family Support Coordinator for Cape Cod Children’s Place in creating a deeper understanding of the culture within your own family. Recognize the value each parent/caregiver brings with their own culture of origin and how our unique differences impact our parenting. We’ll also have an opportunity to discuss blended families – when “yours, mind and ours” becomes “we”.
Free. Pizza dinner and childcare included with registration. Pre-registration is required. Call Cape Cod Children’s Place at 508-240-3310.
