     In anticipation of a challenging economy, many families are in need of childcare scholarships.  Scholarship funding from the State of Mass. is changing, and becoming a challenge to receive.  Cape Cod Children's Place accepts donations for scholarships for children who live in the Lower and Outer Cape.  Please call us if you are interested in donating money to help our communities' families and children.

Cape Cod Children's Place administers several tuition assistance and local scholarship programs.  Call us for more information, and/or an application for any of these programs.

  • Brewster Childcare Scholarship Program
    Childcare funds for Brewster families with children ages Birth - 5 years.  Funded by the Town of Brewster.
  • Eastham Working Families Childcare Fund
    Childcare funds for Eastham families with children ages Birth - school age.  Funded by the Eastham Part-Time Resident Taxpayer Association
  • Wellfleet Infant/Toddler Childcare/Preschool Subsidy Program
    Childcare funds for Wellfleet families with children aged birth - 5 years.  Funded by the Town of Wellfleet.
  • Women of Fishing Families
    Childcare funds for families connected with the Fishing Industry. These funds will be allocated to fishing families, including shore side support families, as well.   womenoffishingfamilies.org
  • Lower Cape Emergency Childcare Fund
    Short-term help in meeting childcare costs for families in emergency situations.  Funded by local sources.

  • Chatham Community Child Care Scholarship Program:  For residents and employees of Chatham; the program offers temporary assistance with child care costs for qualifying families.  Inquires should be directed to CACCI/Child Care Network.  888-530-2430
  • Childcare Assistance for Cape Residents: 
    Bailey Boyd Associates has recently secured grant monies for a childcare assistance program for residents of the towns of Dennis, Harwich, Wellfleet and Provincetown.  To learn more about this program, visit www.baileyboyd.com

    Tuition vouchers (through the Dept. of Early Education and Care; EEC) and childcare information and referral.

  • Lower Cape Outreach Council:    Winter Child Care Program
    Childcare aid for Lower Cape residents with children of any age. Available December 2009 - April 2010. Contact Lower Cape Outreach Council at 508-240-0694 for more information.
  • Monomoy Community Services: 508-945-1501
    C. Roger Pollock: 

    Established through the generosity of a private contributor, the Pollock Scholarship is an annual fund set up exclusively to help Chatham working families meet the enormous expenses associated with early childhood education and/or childcare for children ages Birth-5.  The fund is managed by Monomoy Community Services and the award process is organized and conducted by a committee of volunteer community members.
