Rhyme & Shine
January 21 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am
“Rhyme and Shine” dives into the whimsical world of classic nursery rhymes. Designed for young children ages 3 – 5 and their caregivers, this program emphasizes the foundational early literacy skill of rhyming through engaging, interactive activities, songs, and story time.
The curriculum utilizes beloved nursery rhymes as a fun and educational tool. Sessions are structured around the following key elements:

Interactive Reading: Caregivers and children read and recite a variety of nursery rhymes together, fostering a love for books and language.

Literacy Skill Emphasis: Simple, effective methods are introduced to help parents understand and teach the importance of recognizing and generating rhymes, which significantly aids future reading ability.

Creative Activities: Hands-on activities and movement-based games related to the theme of the week provide a multisensory learning experience.
