Family Recovery Support Specialist

Family Recovery Support Specialists support parents affected by substance use disorder on their parenting and recovery journeys. Provide home visiting, parenting and recovery education, and support to parents – including parents who are pregnant or do not have custody of their child(ren), and are in various stages of recovery including utilizing medication assisted treatments. 

Qualifications 

  • Must be a parent with a minimum of 5 years in recovery from substance use and able to demonstrate effective skills for long turn recovery  
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.  
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.  
  • CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and SORI (Sex Offender Registry Information) checks required.  
  • Able to use Microsoft Office Suite  

35 hours/week $25-33 /hour

Family Liaison working with families on a recovery journey

The Family Liaison is a new position within Cape Cod Children’s Place, designed to expand services for families who are experiencing the impacts of loved ones’ substance use disorder (SUD). Rooted in compassion, respect, and lived experience, the Liaison will serve as the first point of contact for family members seeking support. This role focuses on building trusting relationships, reducing stigma, and connecting families with resources, education, and supports that promote healing and resilience.  

This position requires lived experience of loving someone who’s suffered from substance use disorder, with the ability to draw from personal experiences in a way that fosters hope and connection. Applicants should be familiar with or willing to learn frameworks including Strengthening Families, Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences (HOPE), and the CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) model of care. Need to be comfortable with outreach and engagement, to generate interactions with the community. A willingness to facilitate group sessions is a must.

Substitute Teachers, Infant/Toddler/Preschool

CCCP is currently seeking substitute teachers for our Early Learning Center.
A teaching certification from EEC is a plus, but not required.

Candidates will need to submit to a criminal background check, to adhere to all Massachusetts Mandatory Safety in the Workplace Guidelines, and the Minimum Health & Safety Requirements set forth by the Department of Early Education & Care (EEC).
