The Power of Speech

Join Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, Jennifer Watson for a workshop on the power of speech and its impact on overall development! This workshop focuses on learning how to support a child’s speech development, improve communication and thereby reduce frustration and tantrums.
Topics will include:
- Speech Milestones and how best to encourage development.
- Strategies to help reduce frustration and build confident communicators
- Strategies to increase a child’s vocabulary and ability to be understood when communicating
- Learning how and when to advocate for additional services: What is an Individualized Education Plan
